Decorative chains by the metre – haberdashery

A chain on shoes or a few delicate chains on a handbag no longer surprise anyone today. This accessory won the favour of fashion designers and stylists many years ago. Metal rings linked together are one of the best‑known decorations in the world. They can serve as jewellery, a fastening, a connector or a belt.

Large chains with thick, wide links will suit strong materials, leather, fur and denim. We offer heavy chains even up to 11 millimetres in width. Our range also includes more delicate, original chains with rings resembling joined paragraph signs or with tight weaves.

Delicate metal chain they work perfectly as elements of jewellery, for finishing necklines, collars and cuffs on blouses. Combined with a cord or fabric in classic colours, they themselves become the most eye‑catching element of the garment.

Chains with flat ends can be used as a finishing element of a garment or as a hanger for a coat, fur coat or heavy jacket. A chain‑style hanger will certainly be more durable and resistant to abrasion than an ordinary fabric one.

Chains are also used to make metal fastenings and connectors, which can easily replace buttons or be an element of handmade jewellery, e.g. a necklace or bracelet.

An alternative to chains made of metal are decorative plastic chains, which can be an element of clothing or jewellery. They work great as connectors or fasteners. Silver or gold ones imitate metal, but do not have its weight and do not corrode under the influence of moisture.
