The i2 shoulder pad insert designed for jackets is a multi-layer insert based on foam, covered on the top and bottom with different fibres.

The upper nonwoven layer provides stability and the appropriate stiffness.

The lower one is a soft nonwoven fabric that touches the jacket lining and gives a feeling of softness in wear.

All these layers are bonded using needling technology.

On the sleeve cap side the insert has a shaped curve to make sewing in easier.
